Baldwin v. Boone, No. 654807/2016 (N.Y. Sup. Ct. Nov. 13, 2017).

In this fraud case, actor Alec Baldwin sued prominent New York gallerist Mary Boone, alleging that she sold him a painting by artist Ross Bleckner which was a reproduction – albeit by Bleckner himself – of the painting he thought he was purchasing. The parties eventually settled out of court.
