Portraits of John and Arthur Chichester, dated 1745

Pier Francesco Mola painting, Erminia and Vafrino Tending the Wounded Tancred, returned to the Louvre by The Fine Arts Museums of San Francisco. Had disappeared from the Louvre in the 1950s.

Judges say Rumania was uncooperative in suits against Wildenstein and Kimbell Art Foundation for the return of El Greco paintings, San Sebastian and Giacomo Basio, that it claimed were stolen in 1940s.

Painting attributed to Giovanni Antonio Bazzi Sodoma seized by Italian police.
