U.C.C. § 2-403 (1998)


This U.C.C. provision establishes the general rule that a transferor of goods can only convey that title which he has the power to convey. The exception is that a transferor with voidable title has the power to convey good title to a good faith purchaser for value even if certain conditions are present in the transaction
