The texts cover the "failure" of the project, paintings and politics, the iconographical program, the proposed configuration of the Galerie, and artistic collaborations. There is also information on artistic sources, associated works, works mentioned in early documents and archives. Appendices also include correspondance, contracts, lists of works cited in early documents.
