An online free database of Rembrandt's paintings as well as those formerly or currently attributed to him (700), with images and full scholarly documentation. The project is based on records held in the RKD Netherlands Institute for Art History at The Hague, and is the result of a worldwide collaboration between museums, research institutes and scholars.

In addition to the catalogue, there are brief essays on Rembrandt's materials and techniques, and a discussion of attribution issues in Rembrandt studies. A link to Rembrandt's artist page on the RKD site provides further information on his life, references, and links to scholarly archives and other documentation on Rembrandt.

The database was fully launched in 2018, and will be continually updated.
