Summary

18 U.S.C. § 1343 states that the penalty for fraud by wire, radio or television shall consist of a fine and/or imprisonment for a maximum of 20 years. For fraud which affects a financial institution, the penalty is limited to $1,000,000 and imprisonment to not more than 30 years.
